Abstract

A folder of various book reviews for Ron Hansen's novel "Atticus." There are newspaper articles and photocopies of reviews for the English and German versions of the book. There is also a copy of the Santa Clara Magazine with an excerpt from the novel.

Scope and Contents From the Collection: The Carlson Fable Collection is a gathering of primary fable materials at Reinert Alumni Memorial Library at Creighton University. It grew out of the personal collection of fable materials gathered by Rev. Gregory Carlson, S.J. and was given to the Creighton Libraries in 1996. Here is an unopened race game with the cellophane wrap still intact. The bottom of the box announces proudly that in 1979, "Hare and Tortoise" was chosen as the first "Spiel des Jahres" winner. The hare on the cover features an earring, but so far back in his long ear that you might not notice it!
